We are living in a time that is challenging us to be environmentally aware.  Global Warming is a harsh reality that we are facing.  The future however, does not have to be a dark ecological sentence. 

With powerful knowledge comes great responsibility. Lets strive for carbon neutral together by making simple green changes in the way we live daily and offsetting our carbon footprint by planting trees through Go Evergreen and carbon offset forestry. 

After calculating your carbon footprint, you can decide how many trees that you would like to sponsor.  Go Evergreen plants Weyerhaeuser premium pine trees seedlings in North Carolina during fall, winter, and early spring, according to the NC Forestry Best Management Practices.  When planting trees, we carefully consider water quality and its availability, and the surrounding wildlife habitat.  Once the trees have been planted, we will tag them with a permanent marker and an identification number.  Should the trees be damaged or destroyed by weather or fire beyond our control, they will be replaced.  Once the trees you sponsor are planted, you will receive an e-mail confirmation from us  including the location and identification number along with a photo.  You should receive our semi-annual e-mail newsletter keeping you informed of what's growing with Go Evergreen.   To maintain carbon neutral, Go Evergreen recommends calculating your carbon footprint and offsetting annually through carbon offset forestry. 

Planting trees with Go Evergreen through carbon offset forestry is also a great way to say you care about someone special while helping them achieve carbon neutral.  You can plant a tree in honor or in memory of a loved one.
